21: Intelligence jargon

Hello.

Delving in to the post bag, I see that @nevali wanted to make sure people were not confused by the BBC's headline
"John Peel's record collection to go online at The Space".
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-suffolk-17139449
N.B.: it's not the full collection. In truth,  "People will be able to browse through some of his 25,000 vinyl LPs." ... "the project will focus on loading the vinyl first along with some of his personal notes, contributors' stories and filmed interviews with family and musicians." ... "The centre aims to put 100 albums online each week, giving a total of 2,500 over the course of this part of the project which runs from May to October."
[Thanks, Mo.]

Talking of Twitter spam bots (as we were a couple of newsletters ago), you must watch this 4 minute video from the very funny Jon Ronson.
"I have no interest in celeriac!"

And if you like Jon Ronson (and who doesn't?) then make sure you have not missed this interview Leila and I did with him in Shift Run Stop around Christmas, handily packed up in a two-hour long bundle of geeky fun.

An informal glossary of intelligence jargon, via Stratfor via Wikileaks.
"If you can't read a 50 page analysis before invading a country or buying a company, you probably shouldn't be in the business."
It's either tongue-in-cheek or terrifying. Possibly both.
