Hello.
The correspondence has come flooding in.
Tom Martin is glad to see a fellow Notional Velocity user. "Another you might like is Asana. It's like Things, but with a Multiplayer add on, there's lots of keyboard shortcuts. I'm using it for my own to-dos and working with others."
I tried it quickly, and there's a lot to like here. It is a lot like an online Things for teams. The iPhone app looks good too. I think I'll probably try this out. Thanks Tom.

Rina Atienza recommends Timehop - "nice that technology can help us with our memories, but also nice to have a reference or 'benchmark' that we can then measure against the present."
"Hello from the past" "Where were you a year ago today?" Interesting Rina. Thanks. I signed up for it and this morning got an email reminding me of what I tweeted exactly one year ago. Turns out I'm happier today than I was this time last year. So that's nice.

Speaking of that sort of benchmarking, I continue to find this tip from Ze Frank (way back in 2006) helpful.
"This is my baseline".

This newsletter seems to have become quite popular with people at various agencies (hello, agency land). How do I know this? Well, I can see you email addresses when you subscribe but I also get your out of office replies when you're on holiday. I usually just ignore these, but occasionally one catches my eye. Now, I until recently, I worked at an ad agency myself, so I know a little bit about how intense the culture can be, but this one is frankly ridiculous:
"Thanks for your email. I am in a meeting, so will respond to your email on my return."
No. Just, no.
