I was listening to Seth Godin on Diary of a CEO last week, and he said something that stuck: the ability to put your work out there, risk the embarrassment, and keep going anyway is one of the essential skills of this economy.
He's right. And it landed a little too close to home, because I've been sitting on something.
The book is done. Stop Lurking, Start Living — the thing this whole newsletter has been circling for over a year.
It’s been done for a few months now. There's no real reason I haven't shared it before now, except one: I've been nervous to hand it to people who might judge it. That's it.
But I stand behind this book. I'm proud of the work. And I can’t write a book telling people to stop lurking and start living and then hide my own work in a drawer.
So this is me practicing what I preach.
