Hi friends,

I've been thinking about two things all week: my new cat and work. So of course I wrote about the cat.

A cat enters the scene

We adopted a cat this week, somewhat impulsively. While Paul and I were strolling in the neighborhood on Thursday, I spotted a sign with a photo of a cute tabby cat who needed a home. It had a number to call if you were interested. I took a photo and a day later, after thinking how awkward it would feel to actually call a stranger, I texted instead.
