Hey |IF:FNAME||FNAME| ð|ELSE:|awesome human!|END:IF| Iâve been thinking a lot about what life was like as a kid. I remember spending hours in imaginary worlds. Playing outsideâeven in the freezing cold (and then burning my toes in the bathwater). I remember building forts. Sitting on the floor playing TV games. Climbing trees. Painting at my little white art table. Building Lego. Being a kid was awesome, and Iâm fortunate to have had an amazing childhood.
Whatâs been occupying my mind is how I did it all with reckless abandon. I would get intensely into whatever I was doingâand wholly lost in that moment. Time flew by. I didnât care what other people thought of me. I didnât care about money or tax or looking the part. I just did what I felt like doingâwith all my heart. I want to return to creating with this childlike absorption.
Does wanting to create like this resonate with you? And what else about being a kid was magical for you? Let me knowâIâm curious to hear your thoughts.
