Hello human ð
In the last few days, Iâve seen humans helping one another. This is rare. Keeping in touch. Making things. Teaching. Offering services and products for free. There is always a silver lining. What are you enjoying about how life has changed? And when life resumes a more normal course, how might you retain this new found goodness?
One thing for me, is that every day now feels like the weekend. Somehow, after spending 8 years working remotely, and from home, weekends still feel veery different to weekdays. And I really like weekends. Itâs not the best for routine, but it feels really good.
My wife and I decided to make a few videos on our experience of working remotely (instead of vlogging). Hereâs episode 1. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nCtmrnc6ELE) We chat about space, communication, expectations, flexibility, and being awesome. The audio isnât the bestâour fancy microphone wasnât plugged in correctly. But we posted it anyway! Hope you enjoy and find it helpful. This is what my gran-in-law had to say about it (sheâs very switched on when it comes to technologyâI love her)
âWell done Rich and Chany! A lot of very hands-on information wrapped up in an eloquent nutshell. ðThe video is sharp and clear and even I could hear the sound track. What you shared could also be well applied to a couple who are now both on pension. Chany, make some tasty muffins from those lovely ripe bananas and Rich ..... how on earth do you concentrate on your work with this gorgeous, charming young lady beside you in your shared space?â
⤠Big loves from Amsterdam
