The end of the year

Winter is here (or summer). And so is Christmas.
This year has sped by. And I havenât released a class in months! I havenât achieved as much as I wanted to this year, but Iâm feeling really really happy. What I have been doing a lot of is mentoring people and learning Dutch. Helping people on a personal level has been fun and rewarding. Iâve been doing web, illustration, and animation projects with people through RookieUp. (https://www.rookieup.com/richarmstrong/)
This is an illustration style Abriel’s been working on! We’re now working on her web portfolio.
If you also havenât achieved as much as you wanted to this year, look back at what you have done - itâs probably a lot more than you realize. Iâve started speaking Dutch with friends and strangers. It’s not productive, but it is important and rewarding.
Have a super Christmas time (my first cold Christmas â normally I’d be eating watermelon by the pool). Have a super new year celebration. Get some rest. And donât be too hard on yourself. Iâm looking forward to creating some awesome stuff for you, and with you, next year!
