I have no momentum
Updates on my recent vacation, adulting tasks, creative projects, and upcoming events including NFT sessions and live discussions.
Hey! I’ve come back from a lovely family holiday in Bulgaria—I now have extended family there—and got straight back into adulting. Dramatic aircon installation. An Adobe Live session. Doors falling off hinges. An upcoming Skillshare NFT session. Awnings falling down. My first run in months. Unclogging drains. Solar panel installation. The beginning of intermittent fasting. It’s been crazy!
Momentum and rhythm are important when it comes to doing creative work—especially finishing creative work. Right now I’m not a shining example of what this looks like. Learn from what I say, not what I do, in this instance. All I want is a regular week where I draw, experiment, drop new things, and teach students—all from my awesome studio. The aim is to get back to this happy place.
I’ve got some things for you to tune into, both in the past, and in the future! All of them are of the live variety—something I’m enjoying more and more and more.
My Avalanche Summit II panel discussion from May ”Tokenizing Creativity: NFTs and the Future of Art Transactions” has been published on YouTube. I was on the stage with Ed Zipco, Shira Lazar, and Raina Marie.
Last week I was on Adobe live (my second time). I was exploring Photoshop’s new artificial intelligence tools in combination with my own style—it was super fun! Watch the recoding on YouTube.
I have my second Skillshare Live NFT Session coming up next week. I’ll be teaching attendees how to create a successful NFT collection. Check out the details.
❤️ Big loves
