Heaters on. Goodbye Summer 👋
Reflecting on a wonderful summer and gearing up for a free live Bullet Journaling class!
My heaters are on.
Which means my towel is warm when I get out the shower.
It’s so good.
But it means summer is kinda done.
This was one of my favourite summers.
I had some big aha moments, spent amazing time with family, and swam in the sea for the first time in a while.
I could swim in the sea every single day.
One of my aha moments I had was that I love teaching live—online, or in-person.
I’ve done live classes with Adobe, Skillshare, Avalanche, Daisy, and others.
When I’m live, I feel connected to the magic.
It gives me so much energy.
And I’m 100% more authentic.
During the summer I gave six live online classes for Avalanche’s Digital Artist in Residence program.
Besides the energy it gave me, it gave life a nice rhythm—a class every 2 weeks.
So, I’m going to experiment with this format.
The first live online class is going down next week—19 September.
It’s a LIVE online class all about Bullet Journaling.
Bullet Journaling is a powerful and flexible productivity method you practice in a notebook.
I began using it 3 years ago.
I wanted to tell the world about it then, but decided to test it out long-term before vouching for it.
This is me vouching.
It gets me working on things that matter.
It helps me feel less stressed and overwhelmed.
It clarifies my thinking.
It allows me to think without getting distracted.
I adapt it to my needs.

If you can’t make the event, no stress, the recording will be available for 24 hours. And I’ll be selling the class after that, along with a few goodies.
If you know someone you think will find it valuable, please share with them.
What else have I been up to?
Started recording the first season of the TapTapKaboom podcast.
Started the TapTapKaboom bookclub: an almost daily reading of books that speak about creativity. I give my thoughts and opinions (another live experiment).
Dropped a free piece of art to collect on Remx (closed now).
Started reading The Fourth Wing—enjoying so far.
Finished the first book of Foundation by Isaac Asimov: I preferred Dune.Eating a lot of salted caramel and chocolate ice-cream.
Sketching outside my studio, and eating lunch next to the lake.
Wishing you a rocking autumn/fall.
Or an awesome spring if you’re in the south.
