Boom! 2018!
I like January. A lot. It comes after feasting and family, and itâs my birthday month â Iâm 30 this year â so itâs even better than usual. January is also the most acceptable month for reflecting, reading, thinking, planning, and dreaming â I love this stuff. So I do a lot of it while it’s considered normal to do so. Iâve made plans. Iâve dreamt dreams. This year is going to rock. You just wait and see.
One thing I want to do more of is help people. If life was a bunch of steps I want to help others get from a lower step to a higher one. This means more teaching, more writing, more inspiring, and more risky decisions for me. I had a lot of fun mentoring and teaching last year!
If you donât have a goal for 2018, you should learn about computers, code and the internet. This (https://www.bloomberg.com/graphics/2015-paul-ford-what-is-code/?src=longreads) is one of the best articles on the topic. Itâs more like a book. Itâs long. But itâs good. Code is something I want to explore more of this year. If you have a goal on becoming a better designer consider taking a RookieUp Bootcamp.
