A Conference, a Summit, and a Festival
Hey!
The word “Conference” is boring right!?
But a well-put-together conferences (even a digital one) is anything but boring. My favourite conference ever has been Pictoplasma (IRL) in Berlin. Characters! Art! Illustrations! Animations! Weirdness!
I’ve got a summit, a conference, and a festival on my radar this week.
👨🏫 Firstly, I’m attending Skillshare’s Top Teacher Summit this week. It’s where we get to hear what’s up and coming. And we get to catch up with other awesome teachers. Which is a bunch of fun. In the first session I received the award for the best blooper reel! You can watch it in this class on Skillshare.
👨💻 Next up is a conference! In-between working on my new class, attending the Skillshare summit, and crawling around after my 11-month old, I’ll be checking out No-Code Conf 2021. It’s happening online from 17–18 November and it’s free! As someone who codes, I am very interested in this no-code thing. Because of what it enables non-coders to do. It’s like magic for muggles (or no-majes if you’re American).
🕵️♀️ And finally, Discover Fest 2021! It’s a festival happening online from 15–19 November. Yeah, the whole week. There’s a hot line up of free live workshops designed to help you learn new skills for your life and business. There are sessions on everything from podcasting to food photography to making indie games full time. Also!! Even if you can’t attend, register anyway—because replays will be sent out daily (that I assume you can watch in the near future).
What conference/festival/summit have you recently enjoyed?
