march status board
I can’t believe it’s only been one month since my last status board went out.
currently planning: turning my backyard into an outdoor roller rink and maximimalist vegetable garden
obsessed with: our foster dogs, our late-blooming cherry blossom tree, the traffic on the four-lane boulevard our house sits on down to a perpetual 12am crawl
tinkering with: a spreadsheet to track publication submissions and pitches
learning: my sister tipped me off about victory gardens and it’s got me wondering what it would look like in a modern-day application
watching: episodes of high maintenance and treme
reading: the house of the spirits by isabel allende
listening to: jarvis cocker’s “running the world.” this is 100% the anthem we need right now (despite that it was released in 2006). i’ve been playing this song at least once per day.
eating: being creative with freezer, fresh, and pantry foods
drinking: why, yes, i am
longing for: the maximum positive outcome possible
as ever,
rhienna

postscript: in coming weeks, shelters will see an uptick in surrenders of pets and animals needing to be re-homed. most of these groups are staffed by volunteers. if you have a shelter or foster org in your area, i recommend throwing just a few bucks their way. (we foster with pixie project; you can donate to them here.)
