but like, what do you do for work?
hi, friends.
just a short n' sweet tinyletter to share a really cool thing i'm producing. so often i work under NDA or otherwise on projects that never see the light of day publicly. but this is a real thing that's happening (one week from today!) and free for anyone to participate in. the work has been super rewarding, but also challenging in interesting ways: how are virtual events different than in-person? how can you ask for the least but also the best from your team during an ongoing pandemic? does anyone want to attend another zoom event even if it's rad AF?
anyway, i don't have all the answers, but i thought some of you might be interested in what's happening next week. the festival of urgent reinventions (FOUR) is a virtual festival--part make-athon, part competition, part conference. register here. the event livestream will be thursday and friday of next week (9am-1:30pm PST) and available to stream on youtube shortly thereafter. i'm starstruck with the lineup of folks speaking and performing:

so many babes. so many zooms. hope some of you will attend.
what is time? what is work? what can you change? sometimes i see a newsletter come in and it says "january" and i don't even know what that means.
until next time,
rhienna
