Dear friends,

I'm writing from a trailhead in the eastern Sierras, sitting with coffee in a camp chair at the tailgate of our rental van. If you haven't heard, I'm on an eight week adventure traveling around California!

Before I left on the trip, I was really struggling with work, relationships, emotions, and my health. It feels like a privilege but also a necessity to take an extended break.

Our van has been great! And it's been such a relief to rest my brain after a period of work burnout.
