Our achievements in the past year
Dear ,
We’ve been honoured to serve Marlow and its residents over the past year. You may be wondering what we have been up to in that time.
Here is a list of things that the Residents for Marlow group achieved as part of Marlow Town Council:
We made councillors more accessible and approachable to any resident.
We engaged with Red Kite and held resident surgeries in the South East ward, including Thames Valley Police and Buckinghamshire Councillors.
We strengthened our buy-local policy and our environment policy.
We bought 2 phone boxes on the High Street and turned those phone boxes into community spaces.
We revamped the Community Grant Scheme to be more transparent and impactful, and boosted its reach.
We created a Community Organisations Forum to bring all voluntary organisations and charities in Marlow together.
We coordinated the response to the Local Plan to ensure the Town Council submitted comments.
We started the process for a Local Cycling & Walking Infrastructure Plan.
We helped formulate a strategy for the Council with themes around environment (including waste), community, mobility and finances
Thank you again for your continued support - we hope to build on this list in the coming year, to deliver more for Marlow and our fellow residents.
