RentSure Product Updates I’m Excited to Share

Max here. First, I want to thank all of you for the support and kind messages I’ve been getting. I built RentSure to help folks like myself find rent-stabilized units in NYC, and it’s so heartwarming to get messages from others who are finding it useful in their apartment search.
I also wanted to share a quick note to share two big updates we’ve been working on at RentSure that are now live on the site!
🏠 1. Building Search (“Is This Address/Unit Rent Stabilized?”)
We’ve gone back through every single listing we’ve looked at since launching (more than 100,000 at this point – wow!), and made it possible for you to look up any NYC building right from the RentSure home page.
Here’s how it works
Type in an address and you’ll see:
Whether the building has rent-stabilized units (straight from NYC’s official database).
Every past listing we’ve seen/analyzed in that building.
Our confidence in whether those units were stabilized.
This is totally free, and accessible today from the search bar on the home page. It’s been really fun to see how powerful it is for people trying to understand a building before reaching out about an apartment.
✉️ 2. Personalized Email Notifications (Never Miss Another Listing)
The other big thing I’ve been working on and am super excited to announce: email notifications. You can now set tons of filters: price, bedrooms, neighborhood, even our RentSure confidence score, etc, and get new matches sent straight to your inbox the moment we become aware of them.
If you want to give notifications a try, you can set them up at this link or by clicking the “Get Notifications” button in the top right of the home page. And if you use code MATCH25, you’ll get 25% off :). It’s a one-time payment for the amount of time you’ll be searching (2 weeks, 6 weeks, or 3 months of alerts) — no subscription you’ll have to remember to cancel.
P.S. even if you don’t want to set up notifications, you can sign up for a profile for free & do cool other things like save listings without a plan.
