šļø What's new in BoutiqueOS this week
Good morning!
Every week I'll send a quick note on what shipped, what's improved, and what's coming. You can always find the full changelog inside the app under Help ā What's New.
Remember, the focus for me is to provide you value with these tools. If you have questions or additional feedback, please reply to this email or contact me directly!
Here's what you need to know from the last week:
š¦ ReceiptAI Shopify update - Iām still waiting on the final approval for the Shopify integration part of the tool, but I will update you as soon as I hear from them!
š Default import location - One less manual click! You can now set a default in Settings ā Connections ā Import Preferences. The review page will auto-select it for you on every import ā no more picking from the dropdown each time. You can still override it per order if needed.
šØ Add new colors to existing styles on reorder - Reordering a style you already carry but in a new color? The import tool now automatically expands the existing grid to include the new color instead of failing or creating a duplicate. This was one of the most requested improvements from stores doing seasonal reorders.
š Copy item name to Long Description - New option in Settings ā Connections ā Grid Settings. When enabled, the item description is automatically copied into Heartland's Long Description field during import. This is not necessary for all stores, but some stores manually add this and wanted to see it using the tool too.
š Better shoe and multi-line size parsing - NuOrder PDF imports now correctly handle sizes that wrap across multiple lines ā this was causing some shoe orders to lose sizes or mislabel styles - especially with Gola orders. Fixed and tested against real orders.
As always, if something's not working or you have an idea, just reply to this email, call, or text.
Thank you!
