I deployed several updates to the Website and SEO module today. As fast as feedback is coming in and enhancements are going out, I believe it’s important to keep you informed in as close to real time as possible.

Here’s what you need to know from this week:

🔍 BoutiqueSEO scans are smarter and deeper. I completely rebuilt the scan engine. Your site is now scanned across more pages — including product pages, your about page, contact page, and every collection page. The score is now out of 100 with a new Performance category that checks page speed, render-blocking scripts, and third-party app bloat. If you've already run a scan, run a new one to see the difference. Also, remember this is less about achieving a perfect score and more about making consistent progress!

📋 Every issue now shows you exactly what to fix. When we find a problem like missing alt text or thin collection descriptions, you'll see a "Show affected pages" link that lists the exact pages with the issue. No more guessing which pages need attention. For brand-related issues, we show you the specific brand names that need dedicated collection pages.

🎯 Keyword Help actually works now. If you've connected Google Search Console, click "How do I improve?" on any keyword in your rankings. You'll get a personalized action plan — specific steps, example text you can copy and paste for your site, and a realistic timeline to see results. This was partially broken before and is now fully functional.

🔗 Google Search Console improvements. If your connection to GSC drops, you'll now see a clear message with a one-click reconnect button instead of a misleading "no data" screen. The site picker works correctly so you can switch between properties, if you have more than one tied to your Google accountg. I’m also in the process of submitting the app for Google's production verification, which will make your connection permanent — no more re-authenticating. I'll let you know when that's live.
