Quick update — while I’ll keep the mid-week updates to a minimum, I’ll always let you know if there are meaningful changes during the week that could impact you.

Today with the help of several of you, we added a few new features, fixed a couple of bugs, and overall improved the order import tool, making it faster and more flexible:

👨‍💻 Custom field support — You can now enable any Heartland custom field for your imports. If your store uses fields like Tax Category, Department Number, or anything unique to your setup, you can turn them on in Settings → Connections → Configure Fields. Set a default value so they auto-fill every time. (Do not add any of these if not required or you aren’t confident in how it will react upon import)

✍️ Editable cost — Wholesale cost is now editable on the review page, just like retail. If a vendor gave you a discount or the cost needs adjusting, change it before you import.

🏷️ Discount pricing fixed — If you buy from vendors on NuOrder that offer volume discounts (where the original price is crossed out), the discounted cost now imports correctly.

👏🏼 Smarter reorders — When you reorder an existing style in a new color, the tool now creates new items for that color instead of accidentally matching to the old one.

All of this is live now, but let me know if you run into any issues or have questions.
