Good morning!

In an effort to provide maximum value through continuous improvement, I’m excited to announce a big update to the Order Import tool rolling out today.

You can now import wholesale orders from some vendors outside of Joor, NuOrder, and Faire — same review page, same one-click import to Heartland. Just select the vendor from the new dropdown on the import screen and upload your PDF. Currently there are only three options (Julie Vos, Jade/JoyJoy, Z Supply), but I’ll be expanding that daily.

If the order is from a Vendor in Joor, NuOrder, or Faire, nothing changes. Just leave the drop down as-is and import the order as you have been.

This is just the beginning. I’m actively adding more vendors, and the list will keep growing. The dropdown you see today is the same one that will hold 10, 20, 50+ brands over time - in alphabetical order.

A couple things that will help me build faster:

• If there's a vendor you'd love to see added, reply to this email with their name and attach a sample order confirmation (PDF or Excel). I’ll prioritize the brands that come up across the most stores.

• The file format matters — we need the actual order confirmation, not an invoice or packing slip. A PDF order confirmation and a PDF invoice are two different formats, even from the same vendor. (Technically an invoice could work, but if they only send the invoice when they ship, that defeats the purpose of entering orders early when they’re placed)

• Also, the order must contain all the important order and item information, and the format of the order must be the same every time. Choose vendors who routinely provide (or make accessible) the same format order confirmation.

Log in and check out the new import screen today. And if you have a vendor in mind, just hit reply.
