I’m hosting a full-day, in-person workshop on paper art on Sunday, February 8 at DrawTogether Studio in Oakland/Emeryville! We’ll spend the day learning paper art techniques and making sculptural paper food pieces in a relaxed, communal setting.

This workshop would be a great fit for you if you:
* Are curious about paper art (no experience is necessary)
* Crave a full day of getting in the flow of working with your hands
* Want to learn techniques and then explore and play
* Are comfortable learning to use an Xacto knife
We’ll start the day by each making plates of paper rigatoni together while learning foundational techniques through demos and hands-on learning. After a short lunch break, I’ll share a couple more demos and talk about translating a food item to paper. Then you’ll get to experiment and play by creating a paper food sculpture of your choice, and I’ll be there for guidance and support!
This workshop is intentionally small and beginner-friendly. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, try things out, and explore.
