Brief update - first formal complaint about individual councillor

Hi everyone,

Just letting you know I’ve put in a formal complaint about a Facebook post from the “Reform UK Seaham” page linked to Cllr Andrew Harrison. The post made wild claims that the Durham Miners' Gala was somehow linked to Hamas and called the organisers terror supporters and anarchists. It also wrongly linked the Palestinian Ambassador to Hamas.

I think it’s offensive, full of misinformation, and goes against the council’s code of conduct. I’ve asked for an investigation.
