What a week! So much to talk about, lots of news -
I've made some online tools for stuff, and I finally made a page for them at https://reeseric.ci/tools. Currently, it houses a CPS Counter I made in a challenge with a friend, and a flag maker that I made in my web design class and I decided to put on my website for no reason. I guess, go check it out?
I love simple.css, it's an opinionated CSS stylesheet that makes simple HTML pages look good with no effort. Just look at the transformation on my personal website, reeseric.ci, it went from looking like no effort to something on the low-end of decent. I love it!
In other news, Fedora, a popular Linux-based desktop OS and the OS I use daily, just got a new major version! The headlining feature is the move to GNOME 42 which completes the transition to GTK4 and a new Adwaita theme among other things. There are also some other nice improvements but I have to go to bed so I won’t list them here.
I honestly can’t believe it. After many years of yelling at NVIDIA, they are partnering with Red Hat to work on open source drivers. This will remove a massive barrier to entry for the Linux desktop and I can’t wait. For real coverage on this issue, check out the latest Linux Action News.
Good night!
