Outrove

Outrove Bets on Avatar-Led Video Interviews Over Text Bots

Outrove is building an AI recruiter that shows up on camera — a human-like avatar that conducts full video and audio interviews rather than the chatbot-style screening most tools default to. The pitch is closer mimicry of an actual recruiter conversation, not just an async questionnaire with a chatbot wrapper.

Why it matters — If candidates can't tell (or don't care) that it's an avatar, the bar for 'human-in-the-loop' screening just got a lot lower — and that has real implications for where the human recruiter's value actually sits.

Tsenta

Tsenta Is Two People and Already Hiring Engineers

Tsenta, founded in 2026 by Pulkit Gupta and Agnay Srivastava out of San Francisco, is at the earliest possible stage — two founders, one open engineering role. The YC profile is sparse on product detail beyond that.

Why it matters — Worth a pin on the radar as a YC-backed name in the AI recruiting cohort, but there's not enough public signal yet to read much into the direction.
