The first two weeks of 2022 have brought dozens and dozens of new reality TV shows and new seasons to broadcast, cable, and streaming services. That’ll slow down this week a little, phew—and by that I mean there are just 15 premieres on my list so far:

• Those reality show premieres include some cold weather-themed shows, Life Below Zero: Next Generation and Port Protection Alaska, plus some shows to warm things up, like Bravo’s Summer House and Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle.
  

• The charmingly named Animals with Cameras is among this week’s documentary premieres, plus docs about Olympic gold medalist Picabo Street, and Broadway reopening after COVID shutdowns.
