That's the way the Girl Scout cookies crumble

Dear newsletter friends,

Happy Valentine’s Day, or just happy Friday if you find this holiday to be the insufferable domain of annoying coupled people.

I learned yesterday morning that I have the flu, which explains the several days of high fever and why I feel like total shit.

So, my writing this week was a bit abbreviated, as is this newsletter. (Don’t worry: I covered my mouth when I coughed and washed my hands before typing this, so you’ll be fine.)
