Dear newsletter subscribers,
Pit Bulls and Parolees, a longtime Animal Planet show, starts its final season tomorrow, having been cancelled.
That made me think about how much I used to watch Animal Planet. Now I've basically forgotten it exists.
The shift to streaming and corporate mergers are just leaving us with a bunch of cable networks that are just empty shells, like MTV, which mostly just airs Ridiculousness. Yes, it's ridiculous!
I reached out to Animal Planet to see if they had any other new shows coming, and never heard back, which is probably an answer by itself.
Alas. However, there are plenty of shows still premiering! Here are:
