I was quite surprised yesterday when I got my weekly COVID test result back from the university where I teach two days a week: positive.
I have no symptoms—besides anxiety that keeps searching for symptoms—so I’m especially grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and glad to have been wearing a KF-94 mask any time I was around people, since that helps, too.
Apparently, the new, even-more-infectious variant has reached Florida, in addition to the more-visible disease that’s already here. Stay safe out there!
From Design Star to High Design
One of my favorite HGTV Design Star winners, Kim Myles, is back on TV with a new design show—one in which she helps small dispensaries.
I interviewed Kim and reviewed the show, which I thought was terrific even though I have no personal connection to the product.
