It’s me, back again with a brief preview of shows and docs you might want to check out this week. Here they are:

• Among all the reality shows coming to TV this week is NBC’s attempt to create an American version of Eurovision, American Song Contest, and HBO Max’s attempt to turn a Twitter account into a documentary series, One Perfect Shot. Also: new seasons of Bar Rescue and Expedition Bigfoot, and Critter Fixers: Country Vets.

• Documentaries that start streaming or air on TV include profiles of Olivia Rodrigo, Nancy Pelosi, and the first female director of a major symphony, plus behind-the-scenes documentaries about Jurassic Park and Raiders of the Lost Ark.
