Musings on the New Year

As I am apt to do, I am surprised by the consistent growth of this newsletter. Folks keep clicking join, and I continue failing to share compelling content. Let’s fix that.
There are scads of new Important Thing podcasts. Traffic and reach are tricky to measure with podcasts (for me), but the number of people who continue to mention random things I said on the podcast tells me that humans are listening to Lyle and I chat. Thank you. (Important note: the most recent podcast features legit for reals time traveling.)
Two important pieces have appeared on the blog in the last 30 days. The first kicks off the new year and discusses the work involved in building the 35k+ Rands Leadership Community. RLS celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, and we’re having parties AROUND THE ENTIRE WORLD. I’m not joking.
The other piece, Managing Up, previews the next book, which I pray will arrive this summer.
