Basics, Backend, and Beautifying
Hello,
I received a great response on my #1 issue and I am back with a brand new one. For now, the format will be a few interesting articles / videos I read in the past / before the previous issue.
Frontend
This is part of an amazing series by Lydia Hallie where JS concepts are visualized. Really helps in understanding things better.
We use styled-components at work, so in a bid to understand the library better - I stumbled upon Josh's article - Demysifying Styled Components. He has a lot of great articles.
Backend
Lately, I have been watching a lot of videos on backend fundamentals, mostly from Hussein Nasser. He has such great passion for engineering and a knack for explaining things that it is an absolute delight to watch his videos.
I never thought that I would be hooked to a video explaining The OSI Model - something which I just mugged up for college exams.
Some other recommendations (very hard to pick a few!) from his channel:
Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Crash Course
Programming
An interesting read on How To Write Disposable Code In Large Systems
That's it for this issue. Let me know if you found it useful. Feedback / suggestions on the format and content are also welcome.
