A Rainy Roundup
Howdy cowpokes,
I'm sorry I missed last week's post. Not much news to report or muse on at the moment. As I predicted, the Americana Music Association released its statement late afternoon on the Friday of Columbus Day weekend. I summarized the statement and included its full text here. As you will read in the article, there are further steps the AMA could have taken but did not. You will hear more from me on the subject in the near future, but that's all I've got to say for now.
A small personal announcement, but I am the guest on an upcoming episode of the Rainbow Remix podcast talking about Rainbow Rodeo! (I linked to the Spotify page but it's available on whatever podcast app you use and the video goes up on YouTube) I'll post the link when it goes up.
One thing I wish I'd said was that the site is powered by your interest and feedback and I so appreciate your thoughtful responses to these little missives.
One last note: Lydia Loveless just put out an album and is on tour and their van needs repairs! Read more here to help contribute to their repair fund.
