Cartoons for the Moon: Volume 10
October 2024
It is finally the full moon again! This October’s full moon is the third of four consecutive supermoons. It is also known as the Hunter’s moon, which, according to the Farmer’s Almanac is, “…because it was considered a signal for hunters to begin hunting in preparation for the upcoming winter.” The Hunter’s moon always follows the Harvest moon (the full moon that occurs nearest to the autumnal equinox), and since the fields have recently been cleared by farmers, hunters can more easily spot animals that come out to search for any food that remains in the fields.
Tonight we are finally forecasted to get our first snowfall of the season, so I may not even be able to see the full moon unfortunately. However, I am excited for the cold weather, Halloween, and being able to finally turn my oven on again after a few months of it being way too hot in my house to do so.
Enjoy the full moon.

What have I been up to?
I’ve been rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer for probably the fifth time. I don’t think that show will ever get old to me.
I went to the corn maze here in town last week. There are a few other fall/Halloween activities I also want to check out before the end of the month if I have time.
I’ve taken a big step back from social media lately. Maybe I will get back to it one day, but for right now I can’t really say. Just not feeling it lately and too busy to really care. Some people have expressed concern over my absence, hence the reason for this little update down here, but I promise you all I’m totally fine. I just have other things going on.

My newsletter is always free, but tips, commissions, and digital download purchases are much appreciated.
until the next full moon...
