Despite summer’s slower pace, it was a busy July for me.
I am delighted to share a variety of teachings and some announcements of upcoming offerings

I continue to regularly hold sits for several Jewish meditation communities.
I will be holding the Or haLev Ground and Center sit on Thursdays, August 1 and 29 from 1:15-1:45PM EDT. These sits happen Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at this time on Zoom. Please visit their website to subscribe to receive daily reminders of upcoming sits, as well as access to recordings of sits for later practice.
I am also a teacher for the Toronto-based NeySHEV community lead by Aviva Chernick. They are on summer break during the month of August and will return in early September. Please visit their website to subscribe to their weekly newsletter in which they share their Zoom link.

Learn with me this week
On August 6, 2024, I will be leading a virtual class for the Haberman Institute for Jewish Studies preparing ourselves for Tisha b’Av. The class will be held on Zoom from 2:00-3:30PM EDT. You can register for this offering here.
What was I up to in July?
In July, I gave a variety of classes across the Jewish world. On July 5, I offered the weekly Torah study for My Jewish Learning, a recording of which can be found here.
On July 22nd, I lead the daily meditation sit for the Institute for Jewish Spirituality. A recording of that practice can be accessed here.
And, finally, on July 24, I offered the Torah commentary for the Hebrew Seminary for the Deaf and Hearing, on whose faculty I will be teaching next spring. That commentary, called The Future In A Narrow Time can be found here.
