Question Mark Town Roundup for the week of 7/24-7/30
Town Announcements
Purple light will not harm you; only wants your energy
Over the last several weeks, we have received several alarmed phone calls and email messages at the Experimental Crop Station, regarding a floating purple shape that seems attracted to both sound and light. As we cannot confirm the origins of this particularly fascinating creature, we want to offer a few of these questions and answers as both scientists and your supportive neighbors.
Q: Does the large purple light consume human material?
A: As of right now, no evidence exists that the purple light consumes human flesh. As far as we know, it only feeds on light, any light, including streetlights, lamps, electric signs, flashlights, and light from electronic devices.
Q: What potential exists for agricultural/industrial/military uses for the purple light?
A: Too many to list here.
Q: What kind of music does the purple light prefer?
A: 18th Century European Classical. But it is not a fan of Bartok, Brahms, or Mozart. These composers seem to make it incredibly aggressive.
Q: Can the purple light sting?
A: Most definitely. It has nearly-invisible tentacles which are barbed with sharp nettles and which will leave a mark.
Q: Does the purple light respond to any sort of name?
A: It has been said that the light responds to several names but most frequently Q-eey. If you happen upon this extraordinary creature, please contact the Question Mark Police at your earliest convenience.

Our Amazing Collider and You, presentation and test today!
We at New Tomorrow Industries and Quantum Dynamic Solutions are proud to call Question Mark, Ohio "home" to our newest technological breakthrough, the Eightcelerator™ particle accelerator.
We were thrilled to see such a wonderful turnout at the beautiful Question Mark Public Library last night for our presentation and community question hour. We were especially thrilled to see so many enthusiastic employees in attendance! For those members of the Question Mark community who were unable to attend our presentation or could not find a seat in such a full room, we wanted to make these slides available in the spirit of transparency, inclusiveness, and authenticity. We hope you find them illuminating.
In addition, we are overjoyed to be testing our Eightcelerator™ today at 4pm Eastern and look forward to taking this step into a cleaner, brighter, more promising future together. We do recommend that during testing you remain indoors, simply as a precautionary measure. We expect everything to go perfectly.
As we say at New Tomorrow Industries, we'll see you tomorrow, today!

Please do not be alarmed about the frozen sky. Eightcelerator™ test is completely within normal parameters.
As we mentioned in our previous announcement, today at 4pm new Tomorrow Industries and Quantum Dynamic Solutions tested our Eightcelerator™.
Although the results were not what we had expected, we are able to ascertain important information about the technology and its readiness and are excited to add even more improvements to the Eightcelerator™ and your lives.
We expect the sky to return to normal at any time.

Something very strange is happening in this town.
Everything has been disappearing from town over the last three months. I’ve followed every clue I can. After yesterday’s failed particle accelerator test, I went to the woods tonight to find Mr. Business, my neighbor's cat that's been missing for months. I played every musical composition I could think of hoping to get his attention and then I put on my mom’s favorite song and waited and then I saw... this.

Community Notes
Dear friends and fellow Question Mark music enthusiasts,
As previously mentioned via our in-store fliers, Bookman Music will be closed from Monday, July 31st until Monday, August 21st for summer break while my daughter and I are away in lovely Cleveland.
Please pardon our absence during this time. We look forward to returning in late August with a symphony of late summer deals with half-off on both sheet music and reeds.
I really hope nothing important disappears while we are gone.

Did You Know?
Before his death in 1896, founder Reginald Willey was obsessed with writing a musical composition capturing the varied history and unique spirit of the town of Question Mark, entitled Question Mark,Oh Question Mark, which unfortunately was unfinished at the time of his passing.
