Time is colliding with itself!
Apparently time in this town is no longer functioning properly, according to FBI Agent Oberman. He explained it to me today and honestly I do not think I understood it all but it had something to do with time being like a piece of fabric. I’m not entirely sure beyond that. I do know that he spent the last few weeks walking around town recording where time leaps backward and where it seems to leap forward and where it cancels itself out, stopping completely.
He used this data to produce a map. He showed it to me and tried to explain all of it, zooming in and out, but I got lost about halfway through. He let me take a picture of it on his tablet though and I am sharing it with you in case anyone is interested.
Even though I don’t totally understand it, I am going to use this map to find Quentin Quinn and to figure out why time is not working the way it should and what it has to do with everything else that has disappeared. I will let you know.

Strange music coming from Tanner Pratt's house
Has anyone seen or spoken to Tanner Pratt of late?
I was on my way to the post office when I first heard it, a very loud murmuration of strings. It was some kind of classical composition though I do not know what. I paused and tilted my head and noticed that it seemed to be coming from Tanner Pratt’s house on Washington Avenue.
I walked up to the porch and noticed many months and unopened pieces of mail and magazines like The Atlantic and Scientific American piled up. I did not want to alarm the Question Mark Police unless it was necessary as they seem to have their hands full. But does anyone know the last time they saw Tanner Pratt?

ALERT — MISSING BOY FOUND
Quentin Quinn has been found. Alive even! However, it is not without some confounding complications.
On behalf of the entire Question Mark Police Department, I want to extend a grateful thank you to FBI Agent Adam Oberman for his assistance in locating Quentin Quinn, who was recovered from a 300-year-old well in the Question Mark woods earlier this afternoon.
The Quinn family is deeply appreciative of all of the effort from both the FBI and the QMPD in finding their missing son and returning him home. Although the boy has implausibly aged at least ten years, his family is overjoyed to be reunited with him.
Even if this latest conundrum only presents more outrageous speculations, the QMPD is glad to have helped solve this difficult case. And even if no one, even Agent Oberman, can reasonably explain what happened to the boy or why he has returned a decade older, I am still glad to be able to put this case behind us.
I used to be a man who relied on common sense and the kindness of others to keep law in this town and now I do not know what I can rely on. Anyone interested in this position can reach out to me directly.

Crime Reports
December 2
3:41 p.m. — East Avenue and 20th Street, boy recovered alive. At British colonial ruins in woods, Federal Agent A. Oberman recovered Q. Quinn from inside a well. Boy appeared healthy and alert, 10 years older.
December 1
8:15 a.m. — Washington Avenue, disturbing the peace. Loud music reported playing from the home of Tanner Pratt, 78. Officer B. Lindholm reported to the scene and performed a wellness check. No one appeared to be on the premises and the loud music continued.
We are asking the people of Question Mark for any leads regarding the homicide of one Tom Childs on October 14.

Did You Know?
The Question Mark Town Hall was built in 1908 and rebuilt in both 1921 and 1934, after a fire decimated the building twice. Thankfully, there were very few deaths and, after the second fire, the Question Mark Fire Department was founded.
