Books about the fascinating connection between the historical and the personal
It has been heartening seeing so many of you back in town and at the library after the unfortunate events of this December. Welcome back.
If you have not been by lately, please consider visiting the Question Mark Public Library for my latest Librarian's Bookshelf recommendations. I invite you to explore some amazing books about how history informs and interrupts our lives including Kindred by Octavia Butler and HHhH by Laurent Binet.
It is not hard to notice the momentous sense of history happening all around us, in our town, state, and in our country over these last several months. In order to better understand the present and future, we hope you will take some time to explore the past as well.
