Hello folks,

Queer art club will be taking place next Saturday 11th July in Butler Gallery at 12pm.

We will be making banners for the upcoming Kilkenny Pride! All materials provided, just come with your slogans.

Kilkenny Pride takes place 23rd to 26th July with the parade taking place on 25th July. (Thomastown Pride will also be taking place July 11th, so feel free to bring your banner to their events too!)

A volunteer walkthrough of the Kilkenny pride parade will be taking place at 1pm, and I would encourage as many as possible to attend! This group is meeting at Butler Gallery (so convenient!) so for this reason, the art club this month will run as a drop in session - come and go when you are done your banner! This will be the last session of Queer Art Club for the foreseeable. It has created a wonderful community in Kilkenny, and has been a fantastic way to meet so many lovely people. Thank you so much to those that have attended, whether it be once or every session.
