More Than You Wanted to Know About Flight Delays
Hey there - we just published a new essay.
This one’s quite practical: it’s about predicting flight delays.
If you aren’t very nerdy about flights, your default assumption might be that most flights have an equal chance of getting delayed — and that your airline tells you as soon as they know you’ll be late. Neither of those things are true.
It’s possible, even easy, to predict delays ahead of time with information your airline won’t give you. So here’s more than you ever wanted to know about flight delays.
Cheers,
- Carter and Jordan
P.S. Normally, if we wrote an essay about Flight Delays, you might expect an essay using the concept of delays as an analogy for some other part of life or the world (like our recent piece about Sailors and Rowers). Not this time. This one’s literally about flight delays.
If you find it helpful, share it with your friends :)
