Hey there - we just published a new essay.
What if you self-audited your email outbox today? Say there are three buckets you’re allowed to place emails into:
Work-related
Personal & misc.
Cold outbound
What % of the emails you’ve sent this year would be in the “cold outbound” category? Our guess is probably very few, if any at all. (By outbound we don’t mean spammy ‘buy my course’ outbound, but 1:1 emails to interesting strangers.)
Our thesis this week is that we could all get a lot more out of email, and life, if we started sending emails to interesting people.
This essay provides some ideas on how to do so effectively.
