Announcing the Pybeach 2026 Program (also Early-Bird prices ends soon!)

Hello everyone,

PyBeach 2026 Talks Program Is Now Finalized

Its been a while, but we've been hard at work picking our program for PyBeach 2026, and we're proud to announce our selections! In the order that Pretalx gave them to me:

  • Accessing NASA Planetary Ephemeris with SpiceyPy by Andrew Annex
  • Adventures in GIL-Free Python (finally!) by Christopher Neugebauer
  • Everything You Don't Need to Know About Classes in Python by Trey Hunner
  • I am bad at things – And that’s okay by Noah Kantrowitz
  • Securing Your Python Supply Chain: From Dependencies to Deployment by Bernát Gábor
  • Supporting the Next Generation of Pythonistas by Elizabeth Bacon
  • Technical Documentation in the Age of LLMs by Margaret Fero
  • The Small Web Doesn't Need Big Analytics by Barbara Shaurette
  • Working With Risk: Lessons From Mountain Rescue by Andrew Godwin

For details on the speakers and blurbs on each talk, please head on over to our speakers page. Thank you so much to everyone who agreed to give a talk, and to everyone who submitted a talk proposal this year! Note: we are still wrangling what our schedule will look like on the day of the conference, so this order is not at all reflective of the relative time-slots each talk will be given.

Early-Bird Pricing Ends Soon!

Just a friendly reminder that early-bird pricing for PyBeach 2026 tickets will end Sunday, August 30th, 2026. After that, prices will increase to $35 for Student and Unemployed tickets, $85 for Individual tickets, and $250 for Corporate tickets. Purchase now to secure the best price possible! As always, if you need a reduced-price or complimentary ticket, please contact us at [email protected].

Until next time,

- The PyBeach organizers
