PULSAR NOIR FM BROADCAST 0-1 : AS THE FLOWER BLOOM ONCE AGAIN

SORRY FOR THE WAIT ( AGAIN ) BUT A LOT OF THINGS HAPPENED !

A lot has been going on lately, so here’s a proper update to sum everything up. You already received a letter from my fellow comrades, here’s some more news, this time more focused on what’s been happening around Pulsar Noir FM.

LIFE / DELAYS / WORK

We got a bit delayed with the Patreon rewards. I’m still working full time at my current job, while also working on Pulsar FM in my spare time, and to be honest, work has been pretty rough lately. But I’m finishing soon !!!

The Pulsar FM team has been helping me a lot to keep updates, progress, and other things moving, and lately I’ve started to move again.

SOS NO MORE SAFE LAND

SOS NO MORE SAFE LAND on mobile is still coming, and we’re also working on a few fixes for the game !!!

The game had some bugs at launch, and it took us a bit of time to fix them. A lot of people also missed the ending ( and the secret ! ), so we want to make the whole thing clearer and easier to follow.

Right now, the game is working on mobile and should be available there soon, but I think before that I want to take the opportunity to fix some stuff... and add a few other things too.

AUREVOIR YVELINES LES FLOTS

AUREVOIR YVELINES LES FLOTS is near the end of production. We still need to make sure everything runs fine, and there are still a few things we want to polish and clean before the full release.

We’d rather not give a precise date just yet, but we can say this much: before the end of June!, sorry for the wait i'm just too silly <3

THE NEXT PULSAR NOIR FM GAME

The next entry on PULSAR NOIR FM is also on the way: MISSION: MEET ME AT THE HORIZON.

It’s an arcade narrative game centered around Meryl, an assistant, and Emile, a candidate trying to become a pilot for the Syndicate.

Production has been going pretty smoothly. The demo script is already done, the first level is also done, and right now most of the work is focused on 3D stuff and narrative branching.

We want to launch the demo around the end of April! But with my day job still taking a lot of my time and energy, things have been a bit delayed. Still, with the help of bigorno, the association we’re working with, the game is moving forward!

PULSAR FM / GIT / BACKSTAGE STUFF

We’re currently preparing the git repository for the PULSAR FM projects. Because of technical and security issues, it took a bit longer than expected, but the git should be up in the next few weeks if everything goes smoothly.

In the backstage, we’re also doing a lot to make PULSAR FM as clean and solid as possible in the way we share power, resources, money, and everything around that.

ARTICLES / WRITING / THINGS ON MY MIND

I’ve also been working a lot in the background on articles, think pieces, and texts about making games, reading, and playing, things that have been on my mind a lot lately.

Right now, there are 3 big articles in progress, dealing with racism, colonialism, Marxism, and the French video game industry. These are big pieces, and they need time, to gather documentation, organize ideas, and build something serious out of them.

The articles I want to write will not always be directly about the games we make at PULSAR FM. The world is deeply connected, and it shapes the stories we make, so for me it feels natural to also write about what we see in it. I want to keep sharing updates, reflections, and thoughts about international issues I’ve been researching, whether they are about politics or culture.

The first 3 articles will be an overview of how making games gets intertwined with my obsessions with history, Marxism, and colonial questions.
