please boss me around a bit
tell me what you want now that
you’ve cleaned house and fed the cat
do it before your next hit

i have so much left to give
what with everything i take
position me for your sake
in a fitting way to live

it wasn’t for me was it
that i became a princess
so much comes that i don’t ask
and what i do comes much less
in the small room where i sit
at my lone primary task
