absence gets to be too much
almost immediately
i host it, seed it fully
lingering on a peer’s touch

presence becomes an issue
too, leads to choking, teeming,
hit and runs. the swarm dreaming
sets end game to clean tissue
to rend us from the benders

scrape, fulfill requests for peace
the end if you remember
is it in wire or fleece?
bold gifts returned to senders
coalesce and dismember
