Concert at Monks, new year, new tunes
Happy new year, fellow music geeks, and an exciting year it promises to be here in Proggerland. We have some neat stuff in the works including – at long, LONG last – production of our fifth album along with accompanying video, thanks in large part to the City of Austin Live Music Fund and the support of some wonderful fans around the world.
To kick things off, we’re excited to get back into one of our favorite venues on the earth, Monks Jazz in east Austin, for two sets this Saturday, January 11. Tickets for in-person seating as well as top-quality live-streaming (honestly, some of the best in the music industry at the moment) are available through Monks’ website, so surf on over to their calendar and see what’s up. If you missed our last performance there, here’s a snippet.
We’ll be bringing out some more brand-new music on Saturday, and our goal is to introduce at least one new composition per show for the next few months while we develop all the material for the new record. Some of these tunes have been sitting around unplayed since Covid spun our world around, and it feels great to finally get them under our fingers and, soon, into your ears.
We hope to see as many of you as we can, physically or virtually, this Saturday, and we’ll be sharing more exciting updates about various concerts and travel in the near future! Stay warm out there.
