Summary of the Last Meeting (3/6/2024)
First, an Events role has been added to the Discord server. If you wish to receive updates, news, coordination, etc. for real life events such as zine fests or conventions, please make sure to opt in.
And to those for whom this Discord server is new information, please click here for the invitation link. At first, you'll only see the "about-rules" channel; just enter the command written at the bottom of the guidelines to access to the rest of the server. And if the link doesn't work, let us know and we'll send you another.
On that note, MoCCA Fest is coming up. Trevor has very kindly volunteered to organize a group meet up, so if you're interested we highly recommend joining the server and selecting the Events role. MoCCA Fest will be March 16-17 at the Metropolitan Pavilion on 125 W 18th Street, New York, NY 10011. Tickets range between $12-18, and can be bought either in person or online. The Princeton Zine Fest is coming up soon!
First, a summary: the date is Saturday, March 16, from 10:00am - 5:00pm. It's all about zines and DIY printables! Workshops will be from 10:00 - 12:00, and tabling will be from 12:00 - 5:00. Click here for more info about the event and the workshops they'll be hosting.
Second, Princeton Comic Makers will have a table! For the table, Masha is preparing a black-and-white zine of JAM members' drawings, which will be handed out for free. If you are interested in participating, please email your work to princetoncomicmakers@gmail.com by Wednesday, March 13.
We can also display your wares! If you have any business cards or zine-related works (up to your interpretation), please bring them to our next meeting on March 13. Please do be aware that we will not sell your works, so this will be display only.
