Princeton Comic Makers Weekly Roundup #58

Summary (6/25/2025)

🖋️IN SHORT: Art All Night is this weekend at the Trenton War Memorial. Vinny will be hosting a panel there about his short film on Saturday night. Also that weekend is the Garden State Comic Con, where Steve will be tabling. Comic writer/artist Ryan Estrada will do a Zoom talk about his career and industry tips on July 9. Artrepreneur is accepting submissions of ready-for-print images until July 25.

🎸JetLAG breakdown

Welcome back happy campers, and thank you all for making the Goblin Market a huge success! Besides the one rainy day, the weather held out, and the Market got a lot of enthusiastic traffic, especially the workshops. We’d love to collect the thoughts from any attendees so we can make a mini presentation for the group. You can just reply to this email!

Princeton Zine Fest breakdown

Thank you as well to everyone who attended the Princeton Zine Fest! Everyone had to be moved indoors due to the heat, but besides that, it sounds like things went smoothly.

🌙ART ALL NIGHT

Supported by Artworks Trenton, Art All Night is a “24-hour celebration of art, music, and film.” Look at art, listen to live music, and participate in hands-on workshops. It is this weekend, June 28-29, 3:00pm-3:00pm, and it is free to attend. We unfortunately missed the deadline to submit art (submitting art is also free), but this event comes by every year, so keep an eye on it.

🗣️Ryan Estrada Zoom talk

Ryan Estrada is a comics author and artist, as well as a comics journalist. He will be doing a virtual talk with us on July 9, 7:00-9:00. Like the Amy Chu talk, he will be discussing his career and giving tips he picked up on the way.
