🖋️IN SHORT: Masha will sell wares on your behalf at JetLAG, contact her if interested. Amy Chu will give a comics industry talk on June 11. Shannon (Comix Accountability Club) will be at Frog Farm in Brooklyn, June 14. Steve will table at the Garden State Comic Fest. Next anthology check-in is June 11, deadline (for now) is June 25.

Thanks to everyone who turned up for the Amy Chu talk! We’re very sorry we ran out of time for the portfolio review, but (without making any promises on her behalf) considering she is local, we may be able to have her come by again! Click here for a link to notes of her talk.

🎸JetLAG Festival (Downsville, NY)

Masha will run a goblin-themed market at JetLAG Fri-Sun, June 20-22. Masha is happy to sell your items on your behalf. If you would like to contribute goods to stock her market, just let her know!

Second check-in has started. This involves checking your to-scale pencils/rough drafts.

We are extending the deadline to July 30, the last Wednesday of the month!

Our rough schedule:

Jun 11 - 3rd check-in (SOFT DEADLINE, tones/shading/lettering)⬅️
Jul 30 - All final artwork due (HARD DEADLINE)
Jul 23 - Layout 1st check-in
Aug 13 - Final layout due
Aug 20 - Start of promos and pre-orders

Mars Lightning Kickstarter pre-launch

Luke’s comic Mars Lightning has a Kickstarter now! You can sign up to be notified of any updates.

Charlie is participating in the Princeton Arts Council Open Mic

Story & Verse: A Storytelling, Poetry, and Spoken Word Open Mic will be on the top floor of the Paul Robeson building at 7:00. No registration required, just drop by and check out people’s performances OR add your name to a hat to perform (the cut-off for this is 6:45). Charlie will be performing on Thursday, June 19.

Garden State Comic Fest

Steve is tabling at the Garden State Comic Fest, the weekend of June 28-29, 10:00-5:00 (ends at 4:00 on Sunday), at the Codey Arena. Go say hi!
