🎤Amy Chu comics talk
Amy Chu is a comics author who lives in the area, and she is very kindly giving a talk about the industry for us on Wed, June 11. This talk will focus on networking and working on mainstream comics. There will also be a show-and-tell of your own work, so remember to prepare some stuff for presentation.
🏆Ignatz Awards submissions closing soon
The 2025 Ignatz Awards are accepting submissions until May 31! Please click the hyperlink to see the rules and categories. In summary, your work must be published between June 1 2024 - May 31 2025; you can submit works to any of the appropriate categories; and you can submit the same work for multiple categories. Each submission requires a form, which can be found at this link.
🎸JetLAG Festival (Downsville, NY)
Masha will run a goblin-themed market at JetLAG Fri-Sun, June 20-22. Early-bird discounted tickets have ended, so attending personally may be difficult. But Masha is happy to sell your items on your behalf. If you would like to contribute goods to stock her market, just let her know!

Deadline: Sat, May 31 What: Flea market-style artist fair. To apply: Submit the signed release form plus payment (card). $25 for for 10'x10' space; $15 for 6' sidewalk space. Frog Farm Fair
Shannon Spence, who does the Comix Accountability Club with Feather, will be at Frog Farm Fair on Sat, June 14 at 563 Johnson Ave, Brooklyn. The Frog Farm is a riso publisher who host a lot of comics-focused events like this. Check them out!
Haley will be debuting the 2nd edition of her comic “The Girl and The Gun” at the Trenton Charity Comic Con! The event will be this Sun, June 1, at Trenton Central High School. All proceeds go to charity!
