We would like to take a moment and give an update on Royal Vegas Retreat.

We regret to announce there will not be a Royal Vegas Retreat this year due to the ongoing pandemic. We look forward to bringing the event back in the future when it is safe for all J-Fashion enthusiasts to join us.

Here is a letter from Nif on what to expect moving forward:

Hello everyone!

Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we took 2022 off from events. Our staff used that time to rest, focus on other priorities, and strengthen our organization for long-term success.

I had originally hoped we would be able to put on our next flagship event in 2023. This was a date that made sense immediately after RVR 2021, when the Delta wave was subsiding and it felt like life was going back to normal. Then the Omicron wave hit, and the pandemic continued, and inflation and costs skyrocketed, and we started to realize that the circumstances wouldn’t be right for another RVR in 2023.

So we decided to set aside our flagship event for 2023 and change focus. I can’t tell you yet what we’re planning, but we’re working on something really special, closer to our home in the Pacific Northwest. For the time being, we’d like to prioritize smaller events that are more resilient to the circumstances of the world we’re living in now, but that can still unite our community and bring joy to our attendees.

Thank you all, once again, for your understanding, as well as your enthusiasm for our events, and your support. Here’s to a great 2023!
